Who we are

The Oseadeeyo kwasi Akuffo foundation (OKWAF) was established with the motivation to support its natives with a good health care plan, a better access to quality education, and social enterprises.  As part of its responsibilities, OKWAF will provide health care support to students and the aged (60 and above) in Akuapem Traditional area and beyond. The objective is to support nearly 50, 000 students from selected schools within the area. There shall be additional projects on social enterprises will be carried to serve the community on one hand and generate funds on the other hand to support the education and health care intervention.

OKWAF’s commitment in creating avenues for educational excellence coupled with good health care, through enriched programs supported by social enterprises in the long run will be targeted across the whole of the Eastern region, Gnana.

mission & vision.

The essence of establishing OKWAF is a passion-driven agenda spearheaded by Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III as the Chief Patron to help curb the socioeconomic issues faced by several low-income earners and the underprivileged.

The Establishment


The private operating foundation with tailor made project models will supplement the current healthcare plan, educational plan and sustainable employment opportunities through social enterprise starting from Okuapeman Traditional Area.

The foundation was established under the legal frame work of NGOs in Ghana like the

I. Article 21(1) of the 1992 constitution of Ghana

II. Section 10 of the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179),

III. The Draft National policy on NGOs in Ghana, 2004

IV. Article 71 of the United Nations Charter

Emmanuel Asa-Ntow is an accomplished business executive and growth leader. He has over 20 proven years of experience in Strategic Man- agement of Human capital and organiza- tional Behavior in the Hospitality Industry, Real Estate Investments, Property Manage- ment, Branding, and Heavy Machinery pro- curements.
BAORD MEMBER
Kwame Ofori – Gyau is an astute professional with outstanding technical and professional experience in Human Resource - Employee Relation, Reward Management, Change Management, Negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration, People Management, People Development, Mentoring, and Performance Management.
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Gyamfi-Osew is an accomplished chartered marketer and a chartered management consultant by profession. George E. Gyamfi-Osew is the immediate past director of operation at the National Lottery Authority, having served as the pioneer marketing and sales director of NLA ffor almost a decade and subsequently as the director of special projects.
Director of Account/Audit
Nana Kwesi Addo-Twum is a business analyst with more than twenty years of experience as a certified accountant and tax consultant. His outstanding approach to work and commitment to delivering top-notch services have led him to collaborate with a variety of prestigious institutions both in Ghana and internationally.
BOARD MEMBER
Godson Sowah is a global client executive in the Business Consulting practice of Ernst & Young LLP (EY). With over 15 years of consulting experience, Sowah advises executive management and leadership teams at public and private companies on enterprise risk management & technology strategy.
BOARD MEMBER
Nana Yaa Ampem Darkoa was appointed a Technical Director and Advisor to Ghana's Minister for Finance in 2018. In her current role, she established and leads the Transformation Unit to drive private sector resources and investments into the country to fuel economic growth.
